Privacy notice
Tisza Zoltán E.V. (hereinafter: the Data Controller) is committed to protecting the personal data of visitors to the visegride.hu website. This notice explains what personal data we process, why we process it and the legal basis on which we do so, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (2011. évi CXII. törvény, “Infotv.”).

The Data Controller is not required to appoint a data protection officer and has therefore not appointed one.
2. The personal data we process, why we process it and our legal basis
2.1. Contact through the form
- Data processed: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the content of the message, the time of submission and the sender’s IP address.
- Purpose of processing: to respond to enquiries, stay in touch and arrange bookings.
- Legal basis: the data subject’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form and accepting this notice. The legal basis for processing the IP address is the Data Controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in preventing abuse and filtering out unsolicited messages.
- Retention period: we retain messages until consent is withdrawn or a request for deletion is made. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, by emailing [email protected].
2.2. Contact through our Facebook page
If you contact us through our Facebook page or via Messenger, we process the data you provide solely to respond and stay in touch. The operator of Facebook, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, also processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
3. Cookies
This website uses cookies. Cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to function are set only with your prior consent. You can choose which categories to allow using the cookie banner, and you may change or withdraw your consent at any time.
- Strictly necessary cookies — these support the basic operation of the site (session identifier, security CSRF token and storage of your cookie preferences). Their legal basis is the Data Controller’s legitimate interest. They are set without consent because the site cannot function without them.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — these are used to measure visitor numbers and analyse the use of the website anonymously for statistical purposes. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Legal basis: your consent.
- Marketing cookies (Facebook / Meta Pixel) — these are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and display relevant adverts. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Legal basis: your consent.
4. Data processors
The Data Controller uses the following data processors:
- Hosting and operation: Addmonte Ltd. — the servers hosting the website and its data, together with all backups, are located within the European Union.
- Web analytics: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics).
- Advertising measurement: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook Pixel).
5. Transfer of data to a third country
Personal data is primarily stored within the European Union. When using Google and Meta services, data may be transferred to the United States. These providers are either certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of protection.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:
- access to the data processed about you;
- rectification (correction of inaccurate data);
- erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdrawal of consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can exercise your rights by writing to [email protected]. We will respond to your request without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.
7. Remedies
If you feel that your rights have been infringed in the course of the processing of your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH — the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information):

If your rights are infringed, you may also apply to the courts. You may choose to bring proceedings before the regional court (törvényszék) with jurisdiction over your permanent or temporary place of residence.
8. Data security
The Data Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures in line with the state of the art, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restricted access, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, transfer or destruction.
9. Amendment of this notice
The Data Controller reserves the right to amend this notice unilaterally. The version in force at any given time is available at visegride.hu/en/privacy-policy.
